In December 2017, the NSW Government and construction contractor Lendlease invited students of St Patrick’s Primary Parramatta to participate in a ‘Name the Crane’ colouring in competition for the Western Sydney Stadium project.
The winning name ‘Patty’ was chosen from over 400 entries received from pupils. The unveiling ceremony took place on site with Dr Geoff Lee Member for Parramatta, Joel Stringer General Manager NSW from Lendlease Building, the winning student’s family and her teacher, and the school Principal.
