There will be a number of changes to the precinct as construction work begins:
- Wharf 4/5 will be closed to the public. Pedestrians will need to use the Hickson Road footpath to access Pier 2/3.
- Traffic controllers will be at pedestrian and construction vehicle intersections to safely facilitate traffic.
- Some kerbside parking spaces will need to be temporarily removed for the work zone where deliveries will be made.
A Construction Noise and Vibration Management Plan has been prepared by the contractor which sets out strategies available to mitigate noise and vibration impacts.
