Expert Reviewers

Independent expert reviews are key features of both asset management and infrastructure project assurance.

Projects, Gateway, Health Check and Deep Dive Reviews are conducted in accordance with the Infrastructure NSW Review Workbooks. A copy of these workbooks can be found on our Resources page.

The Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework (IIAF) provides the overarching requirements for Project Assurance. Stage 2 Asset Management Assurance Reviews are conducted in accordance with Infrastructure NSW Asset Management Assurance Stage 2 Workbook. The Asset Management Assurance Standard provides the overarching requirements for Asset Management Assurance.

Infrastructure NSW develops a Terms of Reference for each Review in consultation with the responsible agency and key stakeholders.

Reviews are conducted by highly experienced independent Review Teams, who are independent of the agency and project team. The Review Team is selected for its mix of skills, capability and experience to enable it to provide relevant assessment and advice.
