Fixing Country Roads

Fixing Country Roads is providing targeted funding to local councils for road projects that will eliminate connectivity constraints on local roads in NSW and reduce the cost to market for local businesses.

The program is helping fund vital road and bridge upgrades (on council owned and managed roads

and bridges) to better connect local and regional roads to state highways and key freight hubs such as silos, saleyards, rail heads, supermarket distribution centres, industrial parks and depots.

Fixing Country Roads prioritises projects that have clearly articulated benefits, solid business cases and industry support.

For more information about the Fixing Country Roads program, go to Transport for NSW’s website.

Below is a map showing all of the Fixing Country Roads projects for Round 1 and Round 2. Funding has been allocated for these projects, pending a signed deed with the NSW Treasury.
