NSW Infrastructure Pipeline

The NSW Infrastructure Pipeline brings together NSW Government infrastructure projects expected to come to market in the next 3 to 5 years with a minimum capital value of over $50 million. The Pipeline aims to provide industry with the best possible information to enable planning and resourcing. It consists of 3 lists:

  • Capital projects funded for delivery

  • Capital projects with funds committed for planning

  • Asset management projects funded for delivery

Project Pipeline Portal

The NSW Government is committed to transparency of the project pipeline to attract investment and early participation in the design, construction, management and operation of major infrastructure projects across NSW. The pipeline sets out the upcoming demands on both government and private industry, highlighting the importance of collaboration to deliver the projects for the people of NSW.

The NSW Major Infrastructure Pipeline has been updated to reflect relevant projects provided for in the 2023-24 Budget, which includes a $116.5 billion infrastructure commitment over four years with a focus on delivering more schools, hospitals, and public transport for the people of NSW.

The Pipeline has a new look and feel, as well as updated functionality, to make it easier for our audiences to find what they need. One of the new features includes providing information on asset maintenance, upgrade, and renewal opportunities with a minimum capital value of $50 million.

The Pipeline has been prepared by the NSW Government Construction Leadership Group (CLG), which is led by Infrastructure NSW and seeks to drive reform across government in the development, procurement, and delivery of infrastructure projects. All key NSW Government agencies engaged in the delivery of the large long-term pipeline of infrastructure investment are represented on the CLG.
